Who your money will be supporting
By running the event with volunteers, we manage to keep our
expenses to a minimum, and hence maximise the amount raised for charity.
Your enthusiasm for cycling and participation in this event will ultimately
help those less fortunate. We are supporting two cycling-related
charities. The first is ‘Killie Can Cycle’ which is based inKilmarnock . They collect bikes donated from around
Ayrshire and restore them to working order selling them at £5-£30, mainly to
children inScotland .

are also working with a Rotary-based charity Bikes 4 Africa which delivers
refurbished bikes to schoolchildren in The Gambia to enable them to attend
school from remote rural locations. Details of this highly successful
programme can be seen at www.jolerider.org/programmes/bikes4africawhichhighlights
